“Movement should be joy, not punishment. For a long time, I believed exercise just wasn’t for me; until I stumbled into running and lifting, and they became my anchor. They taught me how good it feels to move because you want to feel strong and at home in your body, not to shrink it away. Living with type 1 diabetes, navigating mental health ups and downs, and spending years not knowing I was neurodivergent have all shaped how I coach now: training doesn’t need to look perfect to be meaningful. Goals are great, but the real magic is in the process - in building trust with your body and discovering what it can do.
My background is in academic research and environmental activism, so the science side comes naturally. But my coaching will always be human first, science close second. If you want to nerd out about physiology with me, I’m absolutely up for it. Mostly though, I’m here to help you feel supported, capable, and confident making choices that feel right for you.
In our sessions, expect thoughtful programming, clear cues, adaptations that meet you where you’re at, and probably at least one terrible pun. You’ll get space to try things, ask questions, mess up, laugh, and realise you’re stronger than you think. Strength and health aren’t just physical outcomes; they’re how you feel. Training should celebrate both where you are and where you’re heading. I’d love to help you find joy in that!”
