When I started working with Alma I was already training at the gym but I wasn’t seeing the results I wanted. I had also just had a knee operation & was doing lots of running because I didn’t really understand how good weight training could be! Before working with Alma I didn’t understand how to give me body the things & nutrients it needed. I was really surprised at the results I achieved without doing any running or cardio at all. I lost weight, I saw the body changes that I wanted to, I gained confidence, I felt better mentally & I have more energy now. Now my attitude towards food is a real understanding of what my body needs.
She is such a supportive person, not only in the sessions but with all her help outside of the sessions with nutrition too!

I was looking for a personal trainer to push me and give me the extra support that I felt I needed. Before training my relationship with food wasn’t the best - I was just eating whatever I wanted, I didn’t really care about the nutritional value of the food I was eating. I felt sad, I felt depressed about my body. I felt that I wouldn’t ever be able to have a nice body or feel confident in myself.

Before training and learning from Alma I used to go to shops and look in the mirror and feel gross at all angles. I’m 28 years old and I don’t want to feel like that! I would overeat loads, snack all the time, I didn’t have a healthy relationship with food at all.
Since training, I’ve lost a stone and a half, now I can still enjoy whatever food I want, you just have an understanding of how much you’re eating!
I started online training with more than a year ago and I just feel I’ve grown as a person. I feel so confident in myself, I’m so happy! I love going to the gym so much, it makes me feel so good! And it’s a lifestyle, rather than of ‘ugh I have to go to the gym’ I love going.

After many failed attempts at weight loss, I didn't believe I could EVER lose weight. I felt overwhelmed by not knowing where to start or what to change first in order to start seeing progress.
I found the gym to be a really intimidating place. I didn’t feel confident exercising in public & I didn’t know what I was doing! I felt really out of sync with my body and used food to deal with my emotions or any problems going on in my personal life. I never put much thought into what I was eating or the effects it would have on my body. I didn’t exercise very much except for the odd YouTube video.
My relationship with food and exercise has dramatically changed for the better & I’m much more confident! I have lost 4 stone BUT truthfully Ive achieved much more than weight loss during this journey. I feel more connected to my body & I’m a lot more confident in the gym. I have better posture and I feel much more energetic day to day. I have learned about nutrition & how my body personally reacts to food. I’m so glad I didn't give up on myself, this has changed my life.
The self discipline skills and self growth I’ve developed since training have had a tremendous impact on my life. I’m really grateful for this growth as it has pushed me to tackle certain challenges in my life outside of weight loss head on instead of just feeling trapped by my circumstances!
This journey has been about more than just aesthetics because I’ve seen so many health benefits outside of the gym. I can now run for a bus without sounding like I’m about to give birth by the time I get there!
It’s the little wins like that, that have motivated me to keep going and stay excited for what other things I can achieve!

I was looking for a personal trainer after a really hard year, leaving me in a bad way. I followed all the wrong diets, I didn’t exercise & I was in a really bad relationship as well which massively affected my confidence!
My main goal was to achieve confidence again, as it’s something I’ve always battled with. I am still mind blown & in utter disbelief & stunned at how different my body looks now. I feel very powerful when I train and that is so motivating for me. Working with Alma has taught me how to cope better, understand my emotions and my mood rather than pushing them away.
As a person, it’s made me stronger mentally. I didn’t realise the huge emotional side to personal training, it’s been tough, but I’ve done it!!!

Before joining the gym I was suffering from back pain and low stamina. And even though I wasn't severely overweight I didn't feel comfortable in my body anymore.
For me, the most positive outcome (apart from losing 6 kg) was an awareness for the foods that I actually eat. I didn't know which foods were crazy high in calories and possibly not even something I really liked or needed. Alma was a great support there! She gave me a lot of cooking ideas and advice so I could have all the energy I needed for my day.
My favourite thing about training is that I feel that I can actually do it. I became stronger every week and I recognised the change impacting my work and personal life positively. I have much more energy now, I sleep better and I feel better about myself in general. Proving yourself that you can do this and become a healthier and happier person is a huge thing.

TODAY I am at a weight slightly less than before I had my now, 11 year daughter!!! Feeling so happy because I tried to do this on my own before and had given up on attaining that weight. Before I started training with Alma I thought I could never go out again because I had gained back all the weight that I had been trying to lose for years after following a crash diet. I used food to solve my problems and to deal with my emotions. lost the desire to go out, to meet people and to take care of myself in general. I felt like I lost control of my own happiness.
Training always makes me unbelievable surprised with the things I never thought I could do. Every time she manages to get the best out of me and shows me how strong I can be. I love it. After starting the sessions with Alma I rediscovered what really matters and how important it is to put energy into the things that make you better versions of yourself. She helps me to understand that at the end of the day everything is for me and I’m the only one who can make it happen.
Starting my training with Alma has been one of the best things I could do. I love how funny she is yet at the same time she makes me smash it. She always makes me feel so motivated and like I can do everything (even when it sounds impossible to me) Since training with her, the idea that I can make my own masterpiece and change my body, seems more possible and exciting than ever. It’s actually really hard to describe the feeling after training with words because you need to feel it for yourself- the motivation and the power that your body fills with!
Now I feel full of energy, not only at the gym but in life. I have rediscovered life and all that really matters-giving yourself the best. I’m so much more comfortable not because I look perfect but because I’m trying so hard!
As Alma always says - “Enjoy where you are now” & now I’m completely ready to create my best version and to be my own motivation. That’s one of the things that best things I’ve learned and love to keep telling myself.

Before I started online coaching, I was a bit dubious. I felt like I needed to see somebody face to the fact in order to keep me on track. I have yo-yo dieted since I was 14. I have a lot of weight to lose and believe me when I tell you, I have tried everything, but due to my bad eating habits, I would always gain all the weight back. A friend of mine was training with Alma and told me how much contact and support she received on a daily basis.
We took it slowly, week by week. I loved that we focussed as much on the emotional/mental side of things as we did the eating and training. It really did me the world of good and for the first time in 17 years, I actually found it easy to lose weight and was never starved or deprived of all the foods I like!
